Well, I was thinking about my Bohemian spirit and being a Kintsugi woman. It's all about celebrating my unique journeys and flaws most beautifully.
As a woman guided by passion and spirit, having gone through a chrysalis journey of self-discovery as a kintsugi grandmother, and embracing my kintsugi journey.
The Bohemian spirit, a non-conformist, aka, Purple Sheep, is me, even as a 6-year-old in a Mennonite family, a rebel always questioning things.
It’s this amazing vibe of living true to self, embracing creativity, and not being afraid to go against my faith and family.
I live as a true expression of who I am, imperfections and all, without worrying about societal norms. It’s liberating to think about, just being completely ourselves, flaws included, and seeing that as our superpower. It’s empowering.
There’s this concept of being a Kintsugi woman, which might be even more fascinating. Kintsugi is that beautiful Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, making the cracks part of the art, making it even more precious.
Most of us have had a journey and felt the brokenness and creatively and lovingly put our lives back together stronger. I am a Kintsugi Woman.
Being a Kintsugi grandmother is all about embracing our scars, our past, and our imperfections, and seeing them as something that adds to our beauty rather than something that detracts from it. Life has thrown its best at me, but here I am, stronger and more beautiful because of it.
Life has spun me through its kaleidoscope, with vibrant patterns of tears, trials and triumphs. Each twist and turn has added a unique shard of colour to my journey, creating a beautiful mosaic of resilience and beauty. As a Bohemian Kintsugi grandmother, I embrace the ever-changing reflections, knowing that every piece contributes to the magnificent journey of who I am today.
Our journey as Bohemian Kintsugi Women is one of transformation and self-discovery. We embrace the art of kintsugi, seeing the gold in our broken places, and understanding that our past struggles have only enhanced our beauty and strength. In the spirit of Bohemian freedom, we live life with an open heart, celebrating the unconventional and the eclectic.
We gather wisdom from the earth, the stars, and the vibrant cultures we encounter. Our spirits are free, unbound by societal expectations. We dance to the rhythm of our own drums, creating music with our lives that inspire and uplift. Our homes are filled with treasures of our journeys – not just physical objects, but memories, lessons, and love that we've collected along the way.
As we continue on this path, we encourage the younger generations to find their rhythm, to see beauty in their imperfections, and to walk their unique path. We are here to guide them, to show them that no matter how difficult their journey, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and that they too can turn their scars into gold.
