Grandma's Kintsugi Prayer

The women before me

My mother, my three grandmothers

They rose.

Not untouched, not unscarred.

They rose as Kintsugi women

Cracked, yes, but mended with faith and love.

Their pain wasn’t hidden.

It shimmered.

It taught me that beauty isn’t in perfection,

It’s in the healing.

In the way they put themselves back together

with laughter, love, and prayers.

So when I rise,

I rise with them.

I rise as them.

I rise for you.

Because we are the continuation.

We are the mosaic.

We are the gold.

We are a celebration of all they pushed through and sacrificed to be...to BECOME

To shine bolder, braver, and brighter for us!

siSTARS

We are not just descendants.

We are the living celebration.

We are the prayer of our mothers before us.

They didn’t just survive.

They transformed.

Turned grief into rhythm,

Turned silence into song,

Turned brokenness into brilliance.

And now it’s our turn.

To rise with gold in our veins,

To celebrate our journey

To wear our stories like armor and art.

For the next generation of healing and prayers.

We are Kintsugi Women!

Not despite the breaks, but because of them.

We carry each other.

We carry the fire.

We carry the grace.

We gather in the name of the women who came before us.

Our mothers, our grandmothers,

All the siSTARS who remember the breaking

and whose hearts remember the rising.

We honour the cracks,

The places where light entered,

Where prayer was poured into pain

and beauty was born from the healing.

Let their wisdom flow through our veins.

Let their laughter echo in our breath.

Let their courage anchor our steps

As we follow the golden footprints and paths they cleared with faith and love.

We are the continuation.

We are the altar.

We are their prayers

May we rise with grace,

May we mend with love,

May we hold each other in truth.

Amen. And so it is.
